FoundRadar is a free, volunteer-run lost & found pet network for the United States. We built it for the worst hour of a pet owner's week: when the gate was open and the yard is empty.
Why this exists
When a pet goes missing, the useful information is scattered: a post in one neighborhood group, a flyer on one pole, a call to one shelter. The people most likely to spot the pet — neighbors within a mile or two — often never see any of it.
FoundRadar puts it in one place. One report creates a public page anyone can share, a printable flyer, and a place in the alert queue for neighbors who asked to hear about pets near them. Sightings come back to the owner as messages, without anyone's phone number going public.
Who we are
We're volunteers: pet owners, people who've searched for someone else's dog at 11 p.m., and people who keep a slip lead in the car. We are not a government agency, a shelter or animal control, and we aren't affiliated with any of them — we point you to them, because they matter.
What we promise

Free, always
Posting, alerts, flyers and messages cost nothing. We never ask a pet owner for money, and anyone who does “for FoundRadar” isn't us.

Location with care
Your exact pin stays private. Public pages show an approximate area, enough to search, not enough to find your front door.

Contact without exposure
Finders reach you through a message form. Your phone is shown only if you choose it.

Honest about what we do
We publish your report, make the flyer, and queue alerts to people who signed up near you. We don't promise numbers we can't show.

Safety over speed
Reports that look like sales, rehoming or payment requests are held for a human moderator before going public.
